Nickname:
Her family has never exercised a nickname. When younger, Deitra's siblings and acquantances periodically poked fun at her by christening her Iceberg / Iceberg, which was both referring to her oft wintry demeanor and the first half of her middlename, Burgundy.

Lineage is persistently on the minds of some, and her house would suggest on her own, as well, but Deitra does not usually feel inclined to discuss it. To everyone, including herself, she is of pure blood.

Personality:
Deita trudges the world with a complex personality, offering snippets of disposition that would be reveled in the Machiavellian Slytherin house, but also fragments that have brought gentle smiles to the faces of the less austere houses. An eternal meddler, information has a way of finding itself to the lights of her attention, though she often does not speak of it; Deitra recurrently knows more than she lets on.
Appearance:
Deitra is a well-built girl, her body strewn with lean muscles under a soft layer of childhood plumpness. Her hair is an inky brown that borders on black, thick and straight, apart from the gentle twirl of a subtle wave at the very tips, and her broken flyaways that tend to frizz in even mild humidity. Beneath a pair of eyebrows that tend not to be preened, are a set of small eyes, brown in color, though her mother always described them as hazel - Deitra believed it was because she looked so much like her father, and mum longed for even the slightest of resemblance... hence the claim of hazel eyes when Deitra's brown gaze had barely a hint of overcast, dismal olive pooling at the outer corners of the iris. Her facial structure is soft and full, at least in her young years, and has a distinct rounded nose that looks slightly too large for her face.
History:
Deitra's parents are both active in the wizarding world. Her father, Algar, an eternal lover of holidays, is a mediwizard who is always certain to be chosen to attend the great tournaments; though a worker at St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries, he relishes field work and will occasionally be called to the Hogwarts medical wing. Her mother, Imma, is an obliviator with secondary interest in metal charms, and former Quidditch Keeper of Slytherin.
She has had a rather normal and quiet life - as quiet as a household containing five children can be, anyway. Her home life was of nothing to report - though there was a perplexing dislike for her father by Imma's side of the family, which resulted in some tense situations. Though Deitra's maternal grandparents have grown to have a liking for her, they were not immediately enamored and besotted... likely because of their peculiar and, sometimes, suspicious behavior they harbored around her father.
Family & Pets:
Deitra is the daughter of Algar Christmas Wakefield and mother Imma Raimunde Fiedler. Four siblings. The family owl is a Great Grey by the name of Mnemosyne (nee-MAWS-ih-nee, "remembrance") with the call name of Mneme (NEE-mee, "memory"). A toad named Jeffrey.
